Acre is a liquidity layer for Bitcoin scaling. Users deposit BTC and receive liquid tokens (stBTC) representing their deposited BTC. The deposited BTC is deployed to the Bitcoin layer which uses BTC as its PoS asset, generating passive yield for stBTC holders.
