Fixed-rate loan agreement Notional launches high-leverage yield feature 'Leveraged Treasury'
On September 8, fixed-rate lending agreement Notional launched a "leveraged vault" feature, which is a whitelisted smart contract that implements a specific revenue strategy. Users can borrow from Notional at a fixed interest rate to deposit in the leveraged Treasury, while the collateral of the user loan is held by Notional and also deposited in the leveraged Treasury. If the value of the asset drops too low relative to the user's debt, the collateral is liquidated, otherwise the user can continue to obtain high returns through the strategy.
