SafePal invests in Swiss bank Fiat24 and launches in-app banking gateway and virtual encrypted Visa card

BlockBeats news, on March 12, SafePal announced a strategic investment in Swiss bank Fiat24 and launched an in-app banking gateway and associated virtual encrypted Visa card. The new service aims to “pave the way to bring more users to Web3 and accelerate the bridge of cryptocurrencies to real-world utility.” In compliance with banking regulations from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), registration data for the service "will be stored separately and will only be accessed by the relevant departments of Fiat24". Cash accounts will also be "operated separately by Fiat24, maintaining the decentralization and anonymity provided by SafePal's suite of non-custodial wallets."
