Stacks will perform Nakamoto upgrade around October 29 to speed up transactions

BlockBeats reported that on October 19, Bitcoin Layer 2 network Stacks announced that it will perform the Nakamoto upgrade at Bitcoin block height 867867 (approximately October 29). This upgrade will introduce "Fast Blocks" and "Bitcoin Finality" mechanisms to increase transaction speed. After the Nakamoto upgrade, Stacks block production will be independent of Bitcoin block production, and user transactions can be confirmed within seconds.
