Scroll’s first airdrop will allocate 7% of the total SCR supply, and the claim page is now online

BlockBeats news, on October 21, Scroll published an article introducing its first airdrop. 7% of the total supply of SCR has been allocated to Scroll's first airdrop. The main categories of contributors for the first airdrop include:

1. Community airdrop: participants who contribute through on-chain activities.
2. Ecosystem projects: projects built on Scroll, focusing on growth and innovation.
3. Industry contributors: technical contributors, ZK researchers, open source developers, public product organizations that support the broader Ethereum ecosystem, and educational data providers.
4. Global community: global community organizers, hackathon winners, Road to DevCon, and Ethereum translators who support Scroll's mission.

Scroll has allocated 55,000,000 SCR tokens (5.5% of the total supply) to reward participants who actively contribute to the Scroll ecosystem through on-chain activities. These users participated in the Sessions program.

In this distribution, 40,000,000 SCR (4% of the total supply) are distributed proportionally to on-chain participants who have accumulated 200 or more Marks as of 00:00 UTC on October 19, 2024 (the "Snapshot") (referred to as "Eligible On-Chain Participants").

The snapshot to evaluate the eligibility of Scroll's first airdrop was taken at 8:00 Beijing Time on October 19, 2024. Eligible recipients can claim starting at 15:00 Beijing Time on October 22, 2024. Scroll's first airdrop claims will be open for 90 days.
