Suspected VIRTUAL project owner/early participant transferred 7 million tokens to Bybit

BlockBeats news, on December 14, according to the monitoring of on-chain data analyst @ai_9684xtpa, suspected VIRTUAL project parties/early participants recharged 7 million VIRTUAL to Bybit in the past 17 hours, worth $17.09 million. This address has recharged 11.97 million tokens to the trading platform in the past two months, with a value of up to $25.74 million.

It is reported that the address received 54.85 million VIRTUAL airdrops from the Ethereum mainnet on December 23, 2023 (accounting for 5.49% of the total tokens), and then transferred the tokens across chains to the Base network in April 2024, and then transferred 10 million of them to the current address through multiple transfers. The original address currently still holds $100 million worth of VIRTUAL.

From the transaction records, VIRTUAL was first issued on the Ethereum mainnet, and then migrated to the Base network and completed its transformation and development. CMC also shows that the token is deployed on both networks at the same time.
