Vitalik has donated 10 million Thai Baht to the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand, which will be used to develop a dedicated enclosure for MOODENG.

BlockBeats News, December 26, according to a tweet from the administrator of Thailand's Khao Kheow Zoo MOODENG, ขาหมู แอนด์เดอะแก๊ง, Vitalik Buterin has donated funds to support Khao Kheow Zoo's operations, wildlife sponsorship program, and to develop a dedicated enclosure for Moo Deng and his family, with Vitalik Buterin becoming Moo Deng's foster father.

The donation will be made in two installments, with each donation being 5,000,000 Thai Baht, totaling 10 million Thai Baht (approximately $292,230). The first donation will be completed on December 26, 2024. The date of the second donation and any additional amounts will be announced later, but no later than December 26, 2025.
