BlockBeats News, January 8th, Hyperliquid stated on the X platform that the community has played a key role in the development of the ecosystem, and its feedback has been highly valued. Recently, there have been some misconceptions regarding validators. Hereby clarification:
· All validators are qualified based on their performance on the testnet and cannot obtain a seat through purchase; unfounded claims have demeaned the efforts of validators who have dedicated time and effort to understand the system; as the blockchain matures, the validator set will gradually expand.
· As previously announced, a Foundation Delegation Program will be launched to support outstanding validators and further decentralize the network.
· Anyone can run an API server pointing to any node; sample client code makes requests to specific API servers, but this is not a fundamental requirement of the network.
· It is unacceptable for users to create a black market for the testnet token HYPE; this has been stated multiple times; we will continue to work on improving the testnet onboarding process.
· The node code is currently closed source; open-sourcing is important and the project will open source when development reaches a stable state; Hyperliquid's development velocity is several orders of magnitude faster than most projects, and its scope is several orders of magnitude larger than most projects; the code will be open sourced under secure conditions.
· Currently, there is only one binary. Even in a network as mature as Solana, the vast majority of validators run a single client.
