Secretary-General of the Thai SEC, Pornanong Budsaratragoon, stated that they are considering allowing both individuals and institutions to invest in a local Bitcoin ETF. Thailand's One Asset Management launched a fund-of-fund in June 2024 that provides exposure to overseas Bitcoin ETFs, but the country has not yet approved direct Bitcoin investment instruments.
