BlockBeats News, January 15th, according to The Information citing two sources, TikTok is prepared to shut down its service for U.S. users on Sunday as a U.S. ban is set to go into effect on Sunday unless the U.S. Supreme Court intervenes to stop the ban.

Under the plan, users attempting to open the TikTok app will see a pop-up message directing them to a website with information about the ban. The sources said TikTok plans to allow users to opt to download all of their data to take their personal information with them.
