BlockBeats News, January 15th, According to a report released on Monday, the second inauguration of President Trump, may become the most militarized event in American history.
The U.S. National Security Agency warned that, although there are currently no specific credible threats, Trump's inauguration will be a "potential target attractive to violent extremists." Potential criminals, especially those "disgruntled with the election," may see the president-elect's inauguration oath as the "final opportunity to influence the election results through violence," a group of intelligence and law enforcement agencies wrote in an unpublished threat assessment.
According to The Daily Telegraph citing U.S. officials, nearly 7,800 soldiers will patrol Washington, D.C., along with about the same number of police officers, to ensure a "peaceful transfer of power." The report also revealed that two FBI field offices, a large number of drones, and at least a 30-mile fence will be deployed to protect Trump and the inauguration guests from a series of potential violent threats, including from global leaders and senior lawmakers across the U.S. (Jinse)
