BlockBeats News, January 15, the Korean High-Ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Division (Prosecutors' Office) stated that arrested former President Yoon Suk-yeol entered the investigation process upon arrival at the Prosecutors' Office.
According to Korean media reports, the Prosecutors' Office conducted an investigation on Yoon Suk-yeol at 11 a.m. local time in the Prosecutors' Office at the Gwacheon Government Complex, and subsequently will transfer him to a detention center in Seoul for custody, considering full audio and video recording.
As there is no precedent for a sitting Korean president being held in a detention center, relevant parties are discussing matters such as security, protection, and level of courtesy. (CoinDesk)
