Two of the sources said that Commissioners Hester Peirce and Mark Uyeda are considering measures that include initiating relevant procedures, ultimately issuing guidance or rules to clarify under what circumstances the agency will consider cryptocurrency as a security, and reviewing some cryptocurrency enforcement cases currently in court.
