Bitwise General Counsel: SEC Currently in Transition, New Crypto ETF Approval Still Awaits Guidance from New Leadership

BlockBeats News, February 5th, according to a report by Blockworks, Katherine Dowling, General Counsel of Bitwise and former US prosecutor, stated that the SEC is currently in a "transition period" and needs to wait for the confirmation of incoming Chairman Paul Atkins.

Dowling pointed out that the cooperation between the SEC and CFTC is strengthening, and the newly formed cryptocurrency working group has a positive attitude. However, regarding the securities status of assets like XRP and Solana, the SEC still requires guidance from the new leadership.
