BlockBeats News, March 18th, according to CoinDesk, blockchain financial protocol Sky (formerly MakerDAO) announced that the first batch of recipients for its $1 billion Real-World Asset (RWA) investment plan has been finalized. The Build Fund, a collaboration between BlackRock and Securitize, received $500 million, with underlying assets being US Treasuries and repurchase agreements; the USTB Fund under Superstate received $300 million, focusing on short-term US debt; and the JTRSY Fund launched by Centrifuge in partnership with asset management firms Anemoy and Janus Henderson received $200 million. The $1 billion tokenized asset allocation will accelerate the development of its affiliated DeFi lending platform Spark's RWA ecosystem.
