BlockBeats News, April 26th, according to Bitcoin.com, the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is about to be fully rolled out in the lives of Russian citizens. The Bank of Russia has updated the digital ruble's implementation roadmap.
The Bank of Russia is preparing for the large-scale digitization of the payment system. Anna Kuznetsova, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, stated that the digital ruble payment network is planned to be launched in 2026, at which time citizens will be able to use this payment tool through a digital wallet on the Bank of Russia's platform.
