Beijing Releases Blockchain Action Plan, Aiming for Over 10 Major Breakthroughs by 2027

BlockBeats News, April 29th, according to CCTV News, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park Management Committee, and other departments jointly issued the "Beijing Blockchain Innovation Application Development Action Plan (2025-2027)".

The Action Plan clearly states the main goal: by 2027, a significant improvement will be made in the autonomous and controllable blockchain technology to support the national digital infrastructure foundation. By then, breakthrough achievements will be made in more than 10 areas including blockchain-specific chips, privacy protection, and PB-level trusted storage in core technology fields. In addition, more than 20 excellent application cases will be developed in five key areas such as artificial intelligence large models, and a national-level blockchain hub node will be initially established.
