Layer 2 zkEVM upstart, Linea test Net interactive tutorial

Recently, Polygon zkEVM main network BETA was launched, and V God made the first transaction on Polygon zkEVM, which brought zkEVM a lot of heat. ConsenSys has officially announced that ConsenSys zkEVM has been renamed Linea and has opened the Consensys Network to all developers, users, and protocols. Consensys has previously raised over $700 million in funding (more than Arbitrum and zkSync) from Microsoft, SoftBank, Temasek, Coinbase Ventures and others.

Backed by zkEVM, a good investor, a huge investment, and an open beta network, Linea is a potential project worth interacting with. Users can interact with Linea on its test network and become early adopters to qualify for future airdrops. Here is Linea's interactive tutorial:

Meeting registration

Click on Linea Community Conference linkEnter your email address and name, and confirm in the mail received from this email address. Click Save my spot and Follow. In the past, users who participated in a project meeting were qualified to extract or claim the NFT form, so this Linea meeting can sign up to participate.

Acquire test coin

Linea websiteSome websites for receiving test coins are given. At present, only one or two websites can be used, and there will be failure to receive test coins when there are many users.

You need to copy the link to get the test coins to go to their website and follow the steps required.

Add network

First, you need to add the Linea network to your Fox wallet. The Linea Test network is not available on Chainlist, so you need to add it manually.

First, open the little Fox and click Add Network - manually add network;

Add Linea information in turn;

Network Name: Linea

RPC URL: https://rpc.goerli.linea.build/

Chain ID (Chian ID) : 59140

Currency Symbol: ETH

Blocks the browser URL (Block Explorer URL) : https://explorer.goerli.linea.build/ 

Click Save, and when you have completed this step, you have successfully added the Linea network

Assets cross Bridges and add liquidity

The second step is to carry out asset bridge, select From Goerli to Linea network, and pass the test coins of Goerli network in the account through  Hop  To cross the bridge to the Linea network, you need to wait for some time (usually about 2 minutes);

At this point, you can see the balance of the account test coins on your Linea network;

Next, click Convert to convert the small amount of WETH to hETH;

Click Pool, select ETH Linea Pool, and click Add liquidity.

When you're done, you can see the fluidity you've added.

Uniswap deal

After completing the bridge, click on its official.swap URLIf the gETH swap (exchange) on part of the Linea network is selected as crWETH, it is suggested to select the number less than 50% of the total gETH of the account;

After the swap succeeds, use ETH swap to crUSDC (multiple swaps are required before wallet authorization is eup).

The next step is to add liquidity, select ETH/crWETH and corresponding crUSDC to add liquidity, but it seems that it cannot be added at present, only swap operation can be performed, and you can wait for a period of time.

DEX transaction

Click to enter  MES Protocol  ConsensYs zkEVM (Linea) is switched to test the network website, the corresponding amount of gETH is deposited, and market/limit transaction is performed.

NFT class project

Next click  ghostNFT, is an NFT NFT cross-chain pledge protocol, which allows users to obtain verifiable NFT floor price on the chain by pledging NFT+ other token assets. Select a class of NFT series, click Disperse Collection, select the corresponding token amount, and approve.

Currently, there are few Linea interactive projects that can be found, and only the above several applications can be done. Due to the excessive pressure of Goerli test network recently, there will be some phenomena of receiving test coins or not smooth interaction.
