How can institutions and individual investors open an account on EDX?

On June 20th, EDX Markets, a new cryptocurrency trading platform supported by Citadel Securities, Fidelity Investments, and Charles Schwab, began executing trades in recent weeks. 1. Fill out the application form

To become a member of EDX Markets LLC ("EDX Markets" or "the Exchange"), the applicant ("the Applicant") must complete and submit all materials listed on the application checklist and send them via email to the EDX official Onboarding email address (onboarding@edxmarkets.com). EDX Application Materials Checklist

To obtain the qualification of a Retail Member Organization (RMO) and trade on EDX, you need to complete the application. "Retail orders" refer to orders submitted to EDX Markets by individuals through RMO, provided that the terms of the order have not changed in terms of price or market, and the order is not generated by a trading algorithm or any other computerized method, except that RMO can use algorithms to facilitate routing orders to the exchange ("smart order router"). In this application, the term "individual" refers to orders generated by human requests, rather than orders generated by computer algorithms.

Personal orders can include orders representing accounts held in the form of a company under the law, such as personal retirement accounts, companies, or limited liability companies established for the benefit of individuals or related family members, provided that the order comes from an individual.

If RMO uses algorithms or intelligent order routers to determine whether to send existing retail orders to trading platforms, the order is acceptable and not considered a trading algorithm originating from the company's algorithm, provided that RMO ensures that the retail order meets basic rule requirements, including algorithms not changing the terms of the order relative to price or market side. In addition, provisions that prevent changes to order terms (such as price or aspect) do not undermine the better execution experience of RMO retail customers.

2. Conduct the initial Onboard meeting

EDX membership team will contact the applicant to arrange an introductory meeting with the EDX business development team to discuss the applicant's company goals, answer questions, and schedule an initial technical Onboard meeting.

3. Technical Onboard

During the technical onboarding meeting, the applicant's company will be introduced to the EDX technical onboarding team, which will guide the applicant through the connection and authentication process. EDX will provide dedicated personnel to discuss network connections, application programming interfaces, functionality, and operational issues.

4. Prepare for Trading
