On January 31, 2024, the second season roadshow of ABCDE welcomed 8 outstanding teams, attracting over 80 investors to participate in the presentation. The team's tracks cover BTC Layer 2 network, Layer 2 service solutions, Bitcoin collateral, Launchpad, DA and other Bitcoin infrastructure construction projects.

ABCDE actively invests in and supports innovative projects within the BTC ecosystem, providing not only investment support but also ecosystem incubation support such as media and developer communities. As of now, we have invested in over 10 BTC ecosystem projects, including BitSmiley, Bsquared, Bitmap Tech, BitMask, Bison Labs, DLC Link, Babylon, and more. We believe that the upgrading of infrastructure will lead the next wave of the BTC ecosystem, and the summer of Bitcoin is coming!

Project Highlights:

Through various software and hardware protection technologies, such as TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) and ZKP (Zero Knowledge Proof), supported by advanced DeFi security infrastructure, built on the T-Prover node network. It aims to provide the ultimate cross-chain experience while maintaining the self-custody and secure core values of zero-knowledge empowerment.

BitLayer

One-sentence summary:

The first Bitcoin secure and equivalent Layer2 based on BitVM.

Project Highlights:

BitLayer's core mission is to address the trade-off between security (trustlessness) and Turing completeness in BTC Layer2. Based on this background, three core tasks have been abstracted:

1) L1 asset trustless entry and exit

2) L2 Turing-complete virtual machine for state transition.

3) L1 verification of L2 state transition validity.

Bitlayer achieves trustless signal/asset bidirectional flow through innovative DLC/LN protocols, and introduces VMs (such as EVM/SolanaVM/MoveVM) to support rich state transitions. By promoting the implementation of BitVM, it aims to verify L2 state transitions on Bitcoin L1 in an Optimistic Rollup manner. The project plans to achieve a trustless and Turing-complete BTC L2 through several stages of iteration.

Team

The senior public chain development and ecological construction teams come from Huobi, Polygon, and Polkadot, respectively, with years of practical experience in top public chains and achieving top business results in the industry. The R&D team has practical experience in full-stack blockchain development and operation, launching three EVM-compatible chains, two Ethereum zk-rollups, one MPC+AA self-hosting platform, and multiple core application protocols, with a total TVL of 14B+ and a daily trading volume of 4M+. The ecological construction team has rich web3 application project developer relationship resources in more than 20 countries worldwide, with over 6 years of early Polkadot and Polygon ecological construction experience, leading the deployment of hundreds of ecological projects to public chains and having strategic cooperation experience with dozens of top large enterprises in public chain.
