The Lunar New Year is approaching, and Abstract's mainnet is also about to go live. Magic Eden's official Twitter account posted a tweet early this morning, indicating that Abstract's mainnet will be launched tomorrow:

At this moment, it feels like a time to bid farewell to the old and welcome the new for the entire NFT market. Following the acquisition by Igloo, the parent company of Pudgy Penguins, and the successful launch of Pudgy Penguins' $PENGU token, the NFT community and the market as a whole are full of anticipation for Abstract's new chain.

How to participate in the Abstract ecosystem?

Airdrop Preview

Previously, Abstract announced their incentive system, Abstract Incentives.

This incentive system will reward three different groups of people:

- Developers: Build and deploy apps on Abstract and receive XP rewards monthly based on user engagement. Outstanding developers will also be eligible for a monthly award based on their performance, receiving additional XP.

- Users: Use apps on Abstract and receive weekly XP rewards.

- Content Creators: Live stream on Abstract to earn XP rewards. (Abstract has now opened applications for streamer qualifications, link)

In general, to maximize airdrop rewards, we need to actively and deeply engage in various projects on the Abstract chain. They have also designed a badge system with "Weekly Badges," "Raid Event Badges," and "Mystery Badges." From the names, it is clear that these badges will be used in a series of events to encourage users to use a range of apps on Abstract.

Compared to Blast, a notable feature is that Abstract will have its own live streaming platform, Abstract Live. The resource cost for a live streaming platform is significant. In the early stages, we may only see selected influencers joining the platform for live streaming, rather than it being entirely open to everyone (as an open platform could lead to abuse, with people live streaming eating and sleeping just to earn airdrops...). An unclear point is whether XP can be transferred. On Blats, Gold points can be distributed by the project team as incentives to users, leading to competition between projects. It is not yet clear if Abstract will adopt a similar approach.

NFT Projects

Firstly, most NFT projects on Abstract have already completed a significant portion of their pre-launch processes through presale and whitelist distribution, so it is safe to say that participating now is relatively late. Here, I have listed what I personally consider to be the top projects in terms of popularity, which can help everyone better track the dynamics of the secondary market after the mainnet launch.

Canna Sapiens(@CannaSapiensNFT) - Total supply 4000, price to be determined, IP narrative, with a coin launch plan.

Ruyui(@RuyuiStudios) - Total supply 7777, price 0.07 ETH, IP + gaming narrative, with a coin launch plan.

Kabu(@kabuxyz) - Total supply 7000, IP narrative, has completed a presale of 1000 units at a unit price of 0.038 ETH.

Final Bosu(@finalbosuX) - The second series on Abstract, with total supply and price to be determined, featuring an anime IP narrative. The floor price for the old series is currently 1.95 ETH, and holding the old series entitles you to 1 Free Mint and 1 guaranteed whitelist spot. Abstract Hotdog(@AbstractHotDogs) - Total supply of 3333, price 0.035 ETH, with 1500 already sold in presale at 0.025 ETH. Rug pull potential. Additionally, they have partnered with the Brave browser.

Pengztracted(@pengztracted) - Total supply of 7777, Free Mint. Penguin-themed, currently seems to be a purely artistic project.

Game Projects

Due to the deep involvement required for the Abstract airdrop in ecosystem projects, game projects are very much worth paying attention to, as they might offer both gaming enjoyment and a "win-win" situation (gaming rewards + Abstract airdrop rewards).

Vibes(Pudgy TCG @ocapgames) + Pudgy World(@PudgyWorld_) - Vibes(Pudgy TCG) is a card game based on the Pudgy Penguin IP, while Pudgy World is almost like a chubby penguin "QQ pet," with gameplay details not being too elaborate, but it must be included as it is an in-house project.

Onchain Heroes(@onchainheroes) - An on-chain game created by the former Wolf Game dev lead @skarlywarly. This on-chain game is neither the super hardcore type that has not yet shown strong playability in the "autonomous world," nor is it a "chain game" with sophisticated content on the PC or mobile side; it is the intersection of the two like Wolf Game. It will be an easy-to-learn but difficult-to-master idle game, where players may only need to spend 15-20 minutes a day actually playing the game, but will need to spend a lot of time thinking about their strategy after the game. It encourages players to communicate, make decisions based on their different risk preferences in a fair competitive environment, facing incomplete information to make their own decisions.

The game character NFTs in this series will be minted after the Abstract mainnet launch. Currently, holding the Onchain Heroes Genesis Ring NFT allows you to claim 1 Free Mint + 2 Guaranteed Whitelists, with the current floor price of this NFT being 3 ETH.

Gigaverse(@playgigaverse) - Similar to Onchain Heroes mentioned above, this is also an on-chain RPG game created by the Pirate Nation team lead by @0xDith (Speaking of Pirate Nation, a full-chain game that secured a $33 million investment led by a16z during the bear market, Gigaverse will also leverage the Proof of Play underlying infrastructure from the studio behind Pirate Nation).

The whitelist for the game character NFTs has almost been fully distributed and is awaiting minting.

DUPER(@playduper) - Raised $8.7 million from institutions such as Bain Capital Crypto, Coinbase, and Niantic, initially built on Arbitrum. This game is primarily a social strategy game where the victory condition is either capturing 11 map tiles or achieving a royal flush, tying troop deployment to map control and card hands. Players can exchange required cards in-game, and the ultimate winner is not necessarily the one with the most gains (victory is determined by who collects the most gems).

A total of 999 Free Mint series Genesis Ace of Spade NFTs will soon be released, featuring token allocations and in-game benefits.

Monsters.fun(@monstersdotfun) - Abstract's AI Arena, generate an Agent with your own input Prompt, and as you generate the Agent, a joint curve token is also created. Win to go up, lose to go down.

Currently, registering on the website and referring friends can grant you early access rights (Portal).

77-bit(@the77bit) - Cyberpunk-style MMORPG developed by Analog Games, now with a website event to earn rewards (Portal). This project is an old one, having released an NFT series as early as 2022, with the current floor price at 0.32 ETH.

Social Projects

Boost.gg(@boostdotgg) - This is an NFT whitelist lottery tool created by the well-known AlphaBot. Currently, you can register on the website to get early access to experience (Portal). They will issue tokens that you can redeem now, but it is done on AlphaBot (basically, lottery equals airdrop). This thing is fundamentally the same as AlphaBot, both are platforms aimed at providing incentives through tokens for clients looking to grow their user base. If AlphaBot is just in the small NFT niche, Boost.gg aims to bring together demand, creators, and users through token incentives.

UGC.fun(Create Layer @createlayer) - Projects can deposit their native tokens into a reward pool, and content creators help write related tweets to earn rewards. This project mentions that engaging in activities on their platform will earn their platform's XP, which seems to be a form of token rewards. You can currently sign up on the website to join the Waitlist (link).

noodles.fun(@noodlesdotfun) - Based on the official description, I feel like this is more like Friend Tech on Abstract (or recently popular concepts like Clout and Tribe), where fans can buy their own tokens and interact with their fan community based on this.

Prediction Market/Gambling-Related Trading Projects

Myriad(@MyriadMarkets) - A prediction market project under DASTAN, affiliated with Rug Radio, Decrypt, and others. Therefore, holders of the previous Rug Radio NFT will receive an airdrop of their token $MYR.

Multiplier(@multiplierfun) - This one is quite interesting, a market "green candle" maker. You can choose your favorite low-cap meme coin, select a multiplier, and bet ETH. If the final multiplier given by the system is lower than your selected multiplier, the project team takes your ETH, and you receive the project's native token. Conversely, the system will use the treasury to buy the corresponding meme coin and return the same amount of meme coins (the amount you bet * multiplier).

If there are many players, the market may see many inexplicable single candlestick coins. Then, as the winner, you can choose to water or diamond hand in the midst of chaos.
