The third Taipei Blockchain Week (TBW) will be held at Taipei Songshan Cultural and Creative Park from December 12 to 14, 2024, with the theme of "Onboard", dedicated to leading the public into the Web3 field. This year's event has been upgraded to cover five major warehouses in the main park and surrounding activities, and it is expected to welcome more than 6,000 domestic and foreign participants.
The highlights of this year include special conferences and hackathons. The hackathon offers more than $200,000 in rewards, including $25,000 from Solana, the title sponsor of the hackathon, $155,000 from BNB Chain, $10,000 from AI sponsors 0G and Aethir, and support from Avalanche and CipherBC. We look forward to attracting developers from different backgrounds around the world to invest in Web3 innovative technologies and applications.
Taipei Blockchain Week is co-hosted by BuZhiDAO, Gen3 and TABEI, using the power of the community to create a diverse and rich Web3 experience. Based on the successful experience of hosting more than 100 peripheral activities last year, this year will be expanded and upgraded, with the mission of "Onboard", to introduce the Web3 ecosystem to the public, educate mainstream applications, and jointly promote the popularization of blockchain.
TBW 2024 brings together top blockchain ecosystems such as Solana, Sui, Tron, Avalanche, etc. These top sponsors will lead the event, with themes covering decentralized finance (DeFi), decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO), venture capital, etc., to showcase the most advanced and innovative technical applications of Web3.
· Solana: As the title sponsor of the hackathon, it will showcase projects such as Zeus, Bonk and Genopets, showing its thriving ecosystem.
· Sui: As the title sponsor of the conference, it will explore the rapid expansion of growth in the blockchain ecosystem.
· BingX, Technium, Tron will focus on topics such as exchanges, DeFi, DAO, etc., bringing industry dynamics and exclusive insights.
TBW 2024 invited several heavyweight leaders in the blockchain field to speak on stage, including Binance CEO Richard Teng, TRON founder Justin Sun, and Morph founder and CEO Cecilia Hsueh, who brought expert perspectives to discuss topics such as the evolution of decentralized finance and the future of blockchain governance.
“The first two TBWs put Taiwan on the map in the field of blockchain innovation, and this year we will bring more activities and collaborations to combine the local and international Web3 ecosystems. Our goal is to promote connections and drive industry growth,” said Tiffany Lai, director of Taipei Blockchain Week.
