Trump Attended New York Court Online Regarding "Hush Money" Case

2025-01-10 22:47

BlockBeats News, January 10th, according to CNN, US President-elect Trump has attended a New York court online for the "Hush Money" case. Trump is currently at Mar-a-Lago.

BlockBeats previously reported that Trump could be sentenced before taking office as President of the United States. On January 8th, US New York Appeals Court Judge Ellen Gesmer rejected President-elect Trump's latest request to delay his "Hush Money" case sentencing process. With less than two weeks left until Trump's presidential inauguration, if the sentencing is not completed before his second term begins on January 20th, the presidential pardon power may postpone this case until he leaves office. The court ruling means that Trump's sentencing is still scheduled for January 10th. However, Trump and his legal team have stated that they will continue to seek legal avenues to delay or overturn the sentencing.
