BlockBeats News, January 24th, U.S. listed company Semler Scientific announced that it will increase the size of its convertible preferred note offering to $85 million to acquire more Bitcoin.
BlockBeats previously reported that U.S. listed company Semler Scientific plans to privately issue convertible preferred notes with a total principal amount of $75 million and a maturity date of 2030 to qualified institutional buyers. In addition, Semler Scientific also plans to grant initial purchasers of the notes an option that allows them to purchase an additional principal amount of up to $15 million of notes within 13 days from the issuance date. Semler Scientific intends to use a portion of the net proceeds from the offering to pay the costs of capped call transactions and the remaining net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including purchasing Bitcoin.
