Litecoin Official Tweet: Lester is not the official Litecoin mascot

BlockBeats News, November 20th, the Litecoin official Twitter account stated that it has been almost a week since the Litecoin official account posted the now widely used phrase: "Due to the current market situation, I now consider myself a meme coin." This is a light-hearted and humorous remark, poking fun at the state of the crypto market, while also being self-deprecating.

In a goodwill gesture, Dogecoin designed a new mascot for Litecoin to complement the post. However, unfortunately, a group of people quickly took this mascot designed for Litecoin and its loyal community to create "lestercoin" on the Solana blockchain.

Although this is a free market, and this behavior is not technically illegal, it has already caused confusion for many who currently or have ever followed the @litecoin account. The @litecoin account is not affiliated with any Solana project using the name or image of Lester, nor does it intend to endorse or promote such projects. Lester is not the official mascot of Litecoin.
