Summary
STP aims to optimize the current state of decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). It provides various solutions to simplify the fragmentation problem of current DAO tools, requires no coding knowledge to create DAO, and can manage DAO more efficiently. Ultimately, a fully functional DAO ecosystem lowers fees and increases transaction speed, thereby increasing adoption.
Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) is a community-based Led by a fully independent and transparent entity that operates on the blockchain. Since DAOs are typically built on Layer 1 networks and scalability is limited by these blockchains, activity on DAOs is often slow and expensive.
In addition, although there are many DAO tools on the market, the field of cross-chain and cross-tool encryption is still fragmented. Given the increasing popularity of DAOs, it is important to ensure that the project and user onboarding process is smooth and efficient.
In 2021, STP launched Verse Network, a set of local tools and infrastructure that helps users, communities and The organization makes efficient decentralized decisions and achieves the purpose of simplifying the creation and management of DAO. Users can access a set of code-free DAO tools through the Verse Network to launch and manage DAOs on the blockchain.
STP uses its integrated DAO tool Clique to provide solutions for DAO creation, management and governance.
Clique provides users with a comprehensive dashboard for users to manage all activities across DAO to solve the fragmentation problem of DAO tools. Additionally, it helps in synchronizing information and updates across multiple DAOs. As the number of DAOs continues to grow, members can use Clique to streamline their workflows and maximize efficiency through a better user experience.
The following are some other uses that can be achieved with Clique:
Clique provides a complete set of no-code tools and infrastructure for projects to build in the Verse ecosystem DAO. All aspects involved in DAO creation can be performed directly on Clique, including:
Select a DAO creation template , including member DAO, project DAO and investment DAO
Issuing new tokens and bridging existing tokens to achieve cross-chain functions
Implement a customized token distribution plan while retaining a portion of the tokens
Customize and execute whitelists and public offerings
Issuing DAO governance tokens
Clique provides DAO governance tokens for different use cases and industries DAO template, and also provides users with additional customization options. After using Clique, projects can maintain a high degree of flexibility when creating on-chain DAOs, without the need to create smart contracts. Projects can have a say in token creation, token distribution and public sales, and can configure the DAO governance structure. These include minimum holding rules for various governance and DAO management activities such as proposal creation and voting.
After creating and launching a DAO on Clique, the decentralized application (DApp) also allows community members to browse, manage and socially participate in the project through a comprehensive operation panel. Delegated managers can also oversee and track DAO governance and social activities. Managers can analyze activity metrics compared to other DAOs. In turn, DAO members are able to view DAO contributions and track activities carried out by the DAO they have joined.
The following are the DAO management functions provided by Clique, which can be accessed by DAO managers and members:
Access the comprehensive operation panel to manage all DAOs followed and created as well as assets held by users.
Browse all proposals and social posts featured or followed.
Browse current events in the DAO field on Verse, including pinned events and attention events.
View DAO participation status, including proposal voting, forum social interaction, public information tracking, etc.
For managers, it is to supervise and track the DAO governance and social activities of all members, and analyze their activities against other DAOs.
In addition to token holdings, Clique also allows members to track various key participation indicators to observe the activity of other members. This includes voting frequency, number of proposals, social postings, analytics efforts, token management, and more. With Clique, DAO members can track all of these activities as well as future DAO proposals and activities in a streamlined operations panel.
Verse Network’s data bridge supports DAO cross-chain governance. The data bridge acts as a cross-chain synchronizer, passing data and voting results between the DAO original chain (Ethereum) and Polygon, where Clique is located.
On the Polygon chain, the governance contract allows users to create proposals and vote on them. A user’s voting power is determined by a snapshot of the tokens they held when the proposal was created.
The validator node saves Ethereum’s historical data and snapshots as certificates to provide user signatures on Polygon. The certificate includes each user’s corresponding token holdings. Users can create proposals and vote with signatures, and each unique signature is verified by the contract.
STP’s native token is called STPT. Token holders can use STPT to vote on governance proposals related to the STPT ecosystem and future development. STPT can also be used to access the full suite of tools on Verse, including Clique and Data Bridge.
STP is working hard to build an inclusive DAO ecosystem that everyone can use. The comprehensive set of tools provided by Verse Network simplifies DAO creation and management, which is in line with its purpose of unifying and encouraging adoption in the DAO space.
